To find the Center’s art gallery,Turtle Mountain Mythic Art, from Blue Hill: Just after the Fishnet drive-in restaurant at the east end of Main Street in Blue Hill, bear right onto Rte. 176. Go 3.9 mi. to E. Blue Hill, cross bridge and bear left on Rte. 176 (now also Morgan Bay Road). Go 2.9 Miles. Look for gallery sign on right. Take next left onto Bear Springs Lane. Go 2/10 miles to 52 Bear Springs Lane, the last driveway on the left, following signs.

| 1. You begin your adventure at the Post Office in Blue Hill Village. | 2. Continue east on Main Street to Fish Net Drive-in Restaurant, and bear R onto Route 176. |

| 3. You’ll soon see tranquil Peter’s Cove on your right. | 4. After about 4 miles, you’ll begin the curving descent into E. Blue Hill Village… |

| 5. …where jumping from the bridge into the warm water of the cove is a favorite summer pastime. | 6. Happy swimmers who cheerfully agreed to be photographed. |

| 7. To your right, you’ll look out past First Light’s “lighthouse” into Blue Hill Bay. | 8. Continuing on past the bridge, bear L on 176 (now also Morgan Bay Road) and continue on for 2.9 miles. |

You’ll know you’re close when you see this saltwater meadow on your right, but don’t try to photograph that teenage bull in the center…he’ll object loudly and may even chase you back to your car-as he did me! | 10. At 2.9 miles from the bend after the bridge in E. Blue Hill, watch for the Turtle Mountain Mythic Art sign on your right, then take next L onto Bear Springs Lane and continue on for 2/10 mi. |
