The gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday from 11-5 during the summer, and by chance or appointment year round. Finding the gallery can be a scenic adventure, as it’s tucked away in the fragrant coastal forest, so we offer you amazingly accurate and illustrated directions to the gallery from Blue Hill Village, which you can print out if you wish. The summer 2015 show features Scarlet’s shamanic and coastal images.
Scarlet’s large (44 x 80”) oil painting, “Storm Coming, Penobscot Bay,” is of a sudden summer storm moving towards the coast over the bay, viewed from the vantage point of The Gallery at Caterpillar Hill in Sedgwick, Maine.
